RENTAL APARTMENT BUILDINGS

VICENTE GUALLART
Sharing Tower.
TD01. 286 rental apartments. New Technologies Centre. Public Plaza

The building is organized on the basis of a circular tower with two projecting wings that define the principal public space in which Sociópolis events will take place. The building contains various topologies of rental apartments, including small apartments with shared service spaces on each floor of the Tower, housing for young people, and lofts, as well as a multi-functional centre for new technologies and the hub of the neighbourhood, which will connect and communicate all of the homes via a fibre-optic network. The aim is thus to ensure an intelligent use of the built space and to encourage social interaction between the residents.
