In response to the groves of fruit trees in the surrounding area, the Huerta Tower is created as a twenty-storey block plants from which large cantilevers project out; these cantilevers accommodate small individual orchard-gardens, in each of which a single fruit tree is planted. In this way, the agriculture of the place reappears on the surface of the building, now transformed into a vertical garden.
